🇪🇪 EST: Pikem kanuumatk Ahja jõel algab Koorvere juures ja lõpeb Põlva lähistel Eostes. Matkal avanevad võrratud vaated Taevaskoja kuulsatele liivakivikaljudele ja koobastele, maaliline jõgi ja Euroopa ilusaimaks nimetatud paisjärve tõttu vaadelda nii kalade kui lindude toimetamisi. Suure tõenäosusega näete mööda lendamas või askeldamas jäälindu, parte ja kullilisi. Kulgete jõge mööda läbi Valgemetsa kärestikust, Suurest Taevaskojast, kuulsa Siimu silla alt Otteni endise veskiveski juures ning läbi Orajõe ja Ahja jõe ristumiskohast. Eostes matka lõpppunktis on võimalik ette tellida kohalikust kalakasvatusest värskelt valmistatud nii tuura- või forellipraad. Matkale saab rentida ka GoPro seikluskaamerat, tellida erinevat toitlustust, lõkkepeatust ning suure zuumiga teleobjektiiviga fotograafiteenust. 🇬🇧 ENG: A longer canoe trip on the Ahja river starts at Koorvere and ends in Eoste village near Põlva town. On the hike, you will have incredible views of Taevaskoja's famous sandstone cliffs and caves, a picturesque river and and lake, sometimes called the most beautiful lake in Europe, allowing you to observe the activities of both fish and birds. You will most likely see kingfishers, ducks and hawks flying by or busy. You will follow the river through the Valgemetsa rapid, the Suur Taevaskoda (the sacred Great Heaven's Hall), under the famous Siim's bridge at Otten's former mill and through the crossing of the Orajõgi and Ahja rivers. At the end of the trail in Eoste, it is possible to pre-order freshly prepared sturgeon or trout steak from the local fish farm. You can also rent a GoPro adventure camera for the canoeing, order various meals, a campfire stop, and photography service with a tele zoom lens.
